In 1971, Carl and Velma Forsyth laced up a dream and built Car-Vel Skateland from the ground up—a place where laughter echoed off the walls, friendships were forged under disco lights, and families found joy on four wheels. It wasn’t just a roller rink. It was a heartbeat in the community, pulsing with music, movement, and memories.
Today, that legacy rolls on through their daughter Robin, son-in-law John, and granddaughter Carlett, who carry forward the same spirit of fun, family, and togetherness. Car-Vel remains a place where generations come to glide, groove, and grow—where kids become skaters, skaters become friends, and friends become family.
We’re proud to keep the wheels turning, offering a safe, healthy, and joy-filled space for all ages. Because here at
Car-Vel, every lap around the rink is a trip down memory lane—and the best stories are still being written.

Public Parties Join the excitement during our regular public skating sessions! You’ll get 3 hours in our dedicated party area, complete with classic games, the Hokey Pokey, and a special birthday shoutout. It’s a lively, shared celebration with all the rink’s energy and music.
Private Parties Want the rink all to yourself? Our private parties give you exclusive access for just you and your guests. It’s your own skating playground—perfect for more intimate gatherings, custom themes, or just making memories your way.

Private Lessons:
Ready to roll with confidence? Our Private Lessons are perfect for skaters of all ages who want one-on-one attention and personalized instruction. Join us Wednesdays from 4:00–4:30 PM for a focused, fun session tailored to your skill level. Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your moves, our experienced instructors will help you glide with ease. Spots are limited—so lace up and let’s roll!

Snacks
Our snack bar is perfect place to sit and stop for a break and refuel after a long skate session. We offer a range of snacks, drinks, and meals, including pizza, hot dogs, nachos, pickles, chips and more! We also have punch and lemonade in case you want something other than soda!
Our Parties
We specialize in hosting unforgettable parties for all occasions, including birthdays, school events, and fundraisers. Our party packages include skating time, food, drinks, and a dedicated party host to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
